Pixel Dropper is a lightweight Windows program that solves one task and does it quickly: picking a color from the screen and providing it in the desired format.
The program runs continuously in the system tray. Pressing Ctrl+Alt+H initiates capture: the screen "freezes", a magnifying glass with zoom and coordinates appears under the cursor, and upon clicking, the color value is copied to the clipboard and a notification is displayed. The Ctrl+Alt+R shortcut copies the color directly in rgb(r, g, b) format, while Ctrl+Alt+K opens the color converter.
The built-in converter translates colors between HEX, RGB(A), HSL(A), CMYK, XYZ, and LAB in both directions: simply enter a value in any field, and the rest will recalculate automatically. The alpha channel is supported, recent colors are saved in history, and are accessible from the tray menu with a single click.
All hotkeys, output format (uppercase letters, # symbol), number of decimal places, notifications, and the magnifying glass are customizable. The program can be added to Windows startup. The interface is translated into Russian, English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
The program requires no installation, contains no ads, and collects no data.
